SimConnect is the API, the "application programming interface" of MSFS. The older sims had a similar API with the same name, and these APIs are somewhat compatible. An API is not something that you install, it is part of the software itself. In this case, SimConnect is an integral part of MSFS, just like it was in FSX and is in P3D. The point of an API is to make communications possible for ...
I need version 10.0.61637.0 in order to make some hardware work. I just can't find it anywhere. The one in my FSX SDK is an older version. Does anybody know where to get it? Or could by any chance someone who owns it upload it to an online file hosting platform? Thanks
If FSUIPC cannot connect to MSFS, this is usually because there are no SimConnect connections available. This can only happen if something else has taken / used all the available connections. Are you running any other 3rd-party/simconnect applications? Do you have the Fenix aircraft installed? The first thing to do is to reboot and try again.
I receive all the time message "Simconnect connection failed : ensure MSFS is open and loaded to or past the Main Menu, trying again in 30 seconds" I hope somebody can have the solution for this issue.
As you are using MSFS/FSUIPC7, I have moved your post to the specific FSUIPC7 sub-forum. I have not heard of this issue before... There is a maximum number is SimConnect clients, which is defined by the maxClients parameter for each connection in your SimConnect.xml. However, this usually defaults to 64, which should be high enough, but there is a long standing issue where unused connections ...
What Simconnect needs and what 3rd party developers needs, instead, are just exposing features the simulator already has internally, and make them available through Simconnect. Currently, the N.1 requested feature is a Camera API, and it got a lot of votes, considering this is a developer-oriented forum:
You wallow in misery, you're a hero. 😄 You are being overdramatic for a beta test Stuff like this is expected, that's why they do these tests. Had this gone live to everyone I'd understand, but this is an optional beta. It's Seems like anytime anything connects via Simconnect, the simulator crashes. Love your work, Asobo!
Trying to install the Flight Control Replay for MSFS , as soon as i download and select the icon on my PC desktop i get this message Simulator connection failed or SimConnect is not properly installed
Does anyone know if Microsoft intends to support SimConnect in the new 2020 Simulator or will it have a new network connection interface? If users who want to network computers using Microsoft FS 2020 and SimConnect (if they intend to use it) have the same problems that so many users have experie...
I know that SU3 is still in beta but I never had any problems with FSUIPC7 in any stable or beta versions. On the official forums the problem has also started buzzing sinds the release of SU3 1.5.10 yesterday. There is no mention of any updates in the beta that affect the SDK and SimConnect. That's why I'm confused on to why FSUIPC7 does directly crashes the Sim when it connects in anyway with ...
